Introducción: el envejecimiento cutáneo implica la fragmentación del colágeno, lo cual afecta la matriz extracelular y acelera el deterioro. El fotoenvejecimiento, causado por la radiación ultravioleta, motiva a los pacientes a buscar tratamientos correctivos. La hidroxiapatita
de calcio (CaHA) es un relleno biocompatible que estimula la
producción de colágeno, y brinda resultados seguros y duraderos
con una baja tasa de complicaciones. La corrección del surco
nasolabial (SNL) es clave en la estética facial, y la CaHA demostró
ser eficaz para mejorar la apariencia y rejuvenecer el rostro.
Objetivos: demostrar la eficacia y la seguridad de Cientific Permanent Facial Implant II® (CaHA 80 mg/ml) para la corrección de SNL de leves a moderados.
Materiales y métodos: estudio clínico multicéntrico, prospectivo, abierto y longitudinal que incluyó 122 pacientes de ambos sexos,
de entre 35 y 65 años, con surcos nasolabiales (SNL) de leves
a moderados. Se aplicó un máximo de 1 ml de relleno de CaHA por surco, con la posibilidad de una reaplicación a los 9 meses en casos seleccionados. Se evaluaron parámetros clínicos de eficacia, seguridad y duración del efecto con escalas validadas en los puntos temporales al inicio (basal), y a los 3, 6, 9 y 12 meses. Para la valoración inicial de los pacientes se utilizó la escala de Lemperle,
y las mejoras se evaluaron también con esta escala, y con la Global
Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) y fotografíasde cada control.
Resultados: el estudio confirmó la seguridad y eficacia de Cientific Permanent Facial Implant II® (CaHA 80 mg/ml) para la corrección de los SNL, con leves eventos adversos como dolor, eritema, edema y equimosis, todos transitorios y que se resolvieron espontáneamente. A los 12 meses, la mayoría de los pacientes mantuvo resultados
satisfactorios, con una alta tasa de mejoría según la escala de GAIS. Solo dos pacientes fueron evaluados fuera del protocolo por asimetrías y uno requirió corrección. El 100% de los participantes asistió a los controles establecidos lo que evidenció la adherencia
al estudio y la estabilidad del tratamiento.
Conclusiones: Cientific Permanent Facial Implant II® (CaHA 80 mg/ml) demostró ser un tratamiento eficaz y seguro para la corrección de los SNL de leves a moderados. En ciertos pacientes, la reaplicación a los 9 meses optimizó la duración del efecto.

Introducción: la corrección mínimamente invasiva de arrugas finas representa una de las principales demandas en la medicina estética. Los rellenos dérmicos a base de ácido hialurónico (AH) ofrecen una alternativa segura y eficaz para mejorar la calidad de la piel y atenuar los signos del envejecimiento, manteniendo resultados naturales y reversibles.
Objetivos: evaluar la eficacia, seguridad, satisfacción y duración del efecto del gel de AH reticulado (AHR 18 mg/ml) Cientific Hyaluronic Facial Implant 18® (CHFI18®) en pacientes con arrugas finas faciales.
Materiales y métodos: se realizó un estudio prospectivo y abierto que incluyó 105 pacientes adultos (de entre 35 y 60 años) con arrugas finas en el rostro, el cuello y el escote, usando como relleno dérmico CHFI18® (ARH 18 mg/ml). La eficacia se evaluó mediante la Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale (WSRS) y la Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS), la satisfacción con escala de Likert (1-5) y la seguridad mediante el registro de eventos adversos. Los controles se efectuaron a los 30, 90, 180 y 360 días. Resultados: todos los pacientes completaron el seguimiento de 12 meses. Se observó una reducción significativa del puntaje de la WSRS desde el valor basal hasta el día 360 (p≤0,001). El 91 % mostró mejoría ≥1 punto a los 30 días, mientras que el 58% mantuvo la mejoría al año. El 89% de los médicos y el 85% de los pacientes reportaron mejoría estética (GAIS ≥ “mejorado”) a los 90 días. La satisfacción media fue ≥4 puntos hasta los 180 días. Los eventos adversos fueron leves y transitorios, sin complicaciones graves.
Conclusiones: Cientific Hyaluronic Facial Implant 18® (CHFI18®) demostró ser eficaz, seguro y bien tolerado para el tratamiento de las arrugas finas del rostro, el cuello y el escote, con resultados naturales, duraderos y con un alto nivel de satisfacción.

Introduction: skin aging involves collagen fragmentation, which affects the extracellular matrix and accelerates deterioration. Photoaging, caused by ultraviolet radiation, motivates patients to seek corrective treatments. Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) is a biocompatible filler that stimulates collagen production and provides safe and long-lasting results with a low complication rate. Correction of the nasolabial fold (NLF) is key to facial aesthetics, and CaHA has been shown to be effective in improving appearance and rejuvenating the face.
Objectives: demonstrate the efficacy and safety of Cientific Permanent Facial Implant II® (CaHA 80 mg/ml) for the correction of mild to moderate NLF.1
Materials and methods: a multicenter, prospective, open-label, longitudinal clinical study included 122 patients of both sexes (35–65 years old) with mild to moderate nasolabial folds (NLF). A maximum of 1 ml of CaHA filler was applied per fold, with the possibility of reapplication after 9 months in selected cases clinical parameters of efficacy, safety, and duration of effect were assessed using validated scales at baseline and at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. The Lemperle scale was used for the initial patient assessment, and improvements were also assessed using this scale and the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) and photographs of each follow-up.
Results: the study confirmed the safety and efficacy of Cientific Permanent Facial Implant II® (CaHA 80 mg/ml) for the correction of NLF, with mild adverse events such as pain, erythema, edema and ecchymosis, all transient and resolved spontaneously. At 12 months, the majority of patients maintained satisfactory results, with a high rate of improvement according to the GAIS scale. Only two patients were evaluated outside the protocol for asymmetries, and only one required correction. All participants attended the established follow-up visits, demonstrating adherence to the study and stability of the treatment.
Conclusions: Cientific Permanent Facial Implant II® (CaHA 80 mg/ml) was shown to be an effective and safe treatment for the correction of mild to moderate NLF. Reapplication after 9 months optimizes the duration of the effect in certain patients

Introducción: la biorremodelación cutánea con complejos híbridos de ácido hialurónico (AH) no reticulado de alto peso molecular representa un avance significativo en medicina estética, orientada a mejorar la calidad global de la piel más allá del efecto volumétrico. Hyaluromax Skin Builder L® (HSBL®) es un gel inyectable de AH no reticulado (32 mg/ml) con lidocaína, indicado para restaurar la hidratación profunda, la elasticidad y la turgencia de la piel.
Objetivos: evaluar la eficacia, seguridad y duración del efecto del gel de AH no reticulado (32 mg/ml) Hyaluromax Skin Builder L® (HSBL32®) aplicado mediante técnica bio aesthetic points (BAP) en el rostro (5 puntos) y el cuello (10 puntos) en pacientes con signos de envejecimiento cutáneo.
Materiales y métodos: ensayo clínico prospectivo multicéntrico, abierto, que incluyó 107 pacientes (103 completaron el estudio), tratados en dos sesiones (día 0 y día 30) y seguidos durante 180 días. La eficacia se evaluó mediante es-calas validadas (GAIS, FACE-Q Skin Quality Module , WSRS) y análisis fotográfico estandarizado.
Resultados: se observó una mejoría estadísticamente significativa en todos los parámetros de calidad cutánea a los 90 y 180 días (p<0,05). El 92% de los pacientes presentó una mejoría clínica relevante según GAIS. Los eventos adversos fueron leves, transitorios y autolimitados.
Conclusiones: Hyaluromax Skin Builder L® (HSBL32®) demostró ser una opción eficaz, segura y bien tolerada para la biorremodelación del rostro y el cuello, con mejoras sostenidas en la calidad de la piel y un alto grado de satisfacción por parte de los pacientes
